Overview

The Android Registration Client is a tablet application designed to provide a mobile version of the existing desktop Registration Client. It has been developed to ensure accessibility on all Android devices and to meet the mobility needs of countries implementing MOSIP.

Version 0.12.0 of the Android Registration Client is a beta release, featuring the following functionalities:

• Forgot Password

• AID QR code scan

• Lost UIN

• Reset password

Note: Compatible with MOSIP version 1.2.0

Forgot Password	If a Supervisor or Operator forgets their password, they can use the “Forgot Password” option on the login screen.	RCF-69
AID QR code scan	This feature allows Operators to scan a resident’s pre-registration AID QR code to auto-fill their demographic and document data during a new registration.	RCF-698
Lost UIN	In a scenario where the Resident has forgotten their UIN, the Operator can use the “Retrieve Lost UIN” option to initiate a request by capturing the resident’s consent, optional demographic details, and mandatory biometrics.	RCF-457
Reset password	This feature allows Operators and Supervisors to reset their password using the “Reset Password” option in the Profile section.	RCF-84
